We relentlessly pursue God’s plan for the salvation of the Jewish people.

Jews for Jesus was first founded as Hineni Ministries, led by Moishe Rosen. By 1973, "Jews for Jesus" became the name of the organization.

Rosen and a small group of like-minded people began conducting community outreach on the streets and college campuses of San Francisco. As the organization grew, branches were established in New York, Chicago, and Boston. In 1978, the Jews for Jesus headquarters relocated to San Francisco, California where it remains to this day. In 1981, the organization expanded internationally. Today, Jews for Jesus has offices in over a dozen cities around the world.

In South Africa:

Our branch in South Africa has been here since 1988, facilitating Jewish community, offering spiritual care, and providing local service.

Missions Prayer Compass 37Michael Sischy: Dr. Michael Sischy qualified as a General Medical Practitioner from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1993. He joined Jews for Jesus in January 1999 after being active in the state and private health care sectors for five years. Michael comes from a traditional Orthodox Jewish background. His mother's death from colon cancer in 1990 started him on a search for answers to life's tough questions, and in 1994 he found the answers in Y'shua. Michael has two sons, Eliyah and Ariel.
